Tierra del Fuego is in the heart of its breeding ground. We frequently saw them from shore, and even well inland. They are colonial nesters. (S5)

Brown Skuas are strongly associated with seabird colonies, where they eat carrion and also predate eggs and nestlings. The birds in these photos were living at the Punta Tombo Magellanic Penguin colony on the Atlantic coast of Argentina. (S6)
