THAILAND   -   JUNE 2008

I had a little bit better luck in Thailand, which I visited immediately after Malaysia - but only slightly! It was still very tough, and the only reason I got any more shots with digiscoping was because there was more in the way of open country birding here. I did manage my only photo (so far) of a pitta, a fabulous Blue-winged Pitta in not so fabulous habitat, living in an African oil palm plantation. Well, it's a country I have to go back to anyway since I dipped horribly on Gurney's Pitta...
