CHESTNUT-CROWNED ANTPITTA   -   GRALLARIA RUFICAPILLA

This handsome antpitta inhabits montane forest at middle to upper elevations. It is found in the Andes from Venezuela south to northern Peru, as well as in the coastal range of Venezuela.

The first five photos are possibly all the same individual, all at or near one of the worm feeders at the Rio Blanco reserve in Colombia. Return to antpitta gallery
